Special Instructions Directions to Stanly County Agri-Civic Center located on the corner of Highway 24-27 W & Newt Road. Quickest Way to Stanly County From Raleigh Take US 1- South to Sanford. Exit onto 15-501 to Carthage; intersection of Highway 24-27 and 15-501 go right. Follow HWY 24-27 to Troy. See directions below. From Troy: Highway 24-27-73 to the intersection of HWY 740; Blue Bay Restaurant on the right; BP gas station on the left; Albemarle Mall on the left. Turn left at this intersection; you are on HWY 24-27 By Pass; stay on this highway traveling toward Charlotte; go through the intersection of HWY 52 and HWY 24-27. Agri-Civic Center is approximately 3 miles from this intersection on the right. From Salisbury: From I-85 in Salisbury. Take 52 South to Albemarle. At the intersection of 52 and 24-27, take a right on 24-27 west. Continue traveling west, approximately 3 miles. You will see the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center marquee. Turn right on Newt Road - parking areas in front and rear of building. From Charlotte: Highway 24-27 (Albemarle Road coming from Charlotte.) Stanly County Agri-Civic Center will be approximately 33 miles from intersection of HWY 74 and Albemarle Road in Charlotte. Stay on this highway; no turns until you reach Newt Road; turn left on to Newt Road. When you pass the Pine Grove Church on your right; this will alert you to the left turn lane for Newt Road. Should be able to see the marquee. From Concord: Highway 73 through Mt Pleasant to Albemarle. At first stop light you come to in Albemarle, turn right. You will be on West Main Street. Stay on this street; you will pass the entrance to Stanly Community College on your right. At stop sign, proceed onto Highway 24-27 W toward Charlotte; Stanly County Agri-Civic Center is located on the right approximately 1 mile from this stop sign. |
