Medicare Summary Notices: Are Those Charges Really Mine?
Medicare Beneficiaries: You may be paying for services you have not received! The North Carolina Senior Medicare Patrol program is holding a FREE event to help you protect yourself from Medicare fraud, waste and abuse. The NC Senior Medicare Patrol (NCSMP) Program is housed within the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) at the NC Department of Insurance. NCSMP is a preventive educational program whose goal is to reduce Medicare error, fraud and abuse through statewide coordinated efforts of educational and promotional activities to encourage reporting of discrepancies by Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers to the NCSMP Program.
