You’re Invited to the Summer Pasture Field Day!

— Written By

Do you like to brainstorm different ways to manage your pastures? Well, you may be interested in this event! Join us on July 20 from noon to 4:00pm at Hardy Creek Farms in Norwood as we spend the afternoon discussing ways to make pastures better. We will tour and discuss  fields of mixed summer annuals and tall fescue treated with Chaparral for seed-head suppression. The day will wrap-up with a weed identification segment.

A picnic- style lunch will be provided with sponsorship from Southeastern AgriSeeds and Dow Agrisciences. Please contact Samantha Foster at 704.983.3987, slfoster@ncsu.edu, or our office to register. Directions to the event location from the Agric-Civic Center can be found by clicking here.

Two O, N, D, & X credits are available to certified pesticide applicators who attend this event. Be sure to bring your card.

***EDIT 7/13/2016: The location of this event has changed from Hardy Creek Farms to the Stanly County AgriCivic Center.***
