— Written By

From December 20-22, several youth participated in 4-H Holiday Camp. This event was a low-cost, full day camp for. Kids were given the opportunity to participate in constructive holiday fun over the Christmas break. Over the course of these 3 days, our youth achieved a multitude of objectives.

Together the youth:

-Built an electric motor

-Learned about nutrition and made healthy snacks

-Took on multiple craft projects such as Christmas tree candle holders and snow globes

-Went on a holiday nature hike and cleaned trash as a service activity

-Learned about nature dyes and made tie dye t-shirts

…and much more!

To find out how to enroll your child in other fun opportunities like the Holiday Camp, email kacie_hatley@ncsu.edu or call (704)983-3987.
