It’s hard to believe that summer is right around the corner! Stanly County 4-H is prepped and ready with more summer programs for your youth. A couple of things to note about 4-H Summer Blast this year:

  • We have opened up classes/opportunities for 14-18-year-old youth. Traditionally, we have not offered many classes for this age group, so spread the word! We would love to have full classes!
  • Registration will be on WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 at the Agri-Civic Center beginning at 9 a.m. These classes typically fill up fast; therefore, arrive early to ensure that you get the classes you want.
  • While registration is still in-person, enrollment is online. You will need to create a profile for your child before registration day. If you are not in the 4-H Online system and approved prior to registration on May 15, you will not be able to sign up for classes. If you are having trouble enrolling your youth, watch this video for assistance.
  • We want to make sure that our highly-involved 4-H’ers do not miss out on any classes. Therefore, if your child participated in our presentation competition in 2018, completed a 4-H project record book this year (2019), or is registered to complete a presentation in our 2019 competition (which will be held on May 20), they may register early on May 14 starting at 9 a.m.

Here it is, everyone!
