Collapse ▲Each year, 4-H youth across the state of North Carolina participate in the AIRE program. This opportunity allows youth to compete for a variety of national trips by completing an application, interview, resume, and essay process. In doing so, youth practice and polish a myriad of leadership, citizenship, and public speaking skills.
This year, Sarah VanHorn (14) from Oakboro, North Carolina represented Stanly County and has been selected as a delegate for National 4-H Congress which will be held in Atlanta, GA in November 2021.
