Are you interested in learning the art of beekeeping or how bees affect our ecosystem? If so then the Practical Beekeeping Class is for you! The Stanly County Beekeepers Association is hosting a class again this year. This class is for new and current beekeepers beginning in January. The class will begin January 27th through March 10th 2025 (Every Monday for 7 weeks) from 6:30pm to 9pm. The cost for the class is $35 plus the book cost. It will take place at the Farm Bureau Livestock Arena which is located at 26130 Newt Rd., Albemarle, NC (located next to the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center). This seven week class will include basic and advanced training in how to prepare for, acquire, and manage honeybee colonies. A field day will be held after the final day of the class.
