National 4-H Congress

National 4-H Congress is the flagship event of the 4-H program. For seventy-nine years, youth from the United States and its territories have participated in this youth leadership development conference. The Congress provides youth, ages 14-19, a quality, educational, and cross-cultural experience that exceeds what any state independently provides. North Carolina's delegation to this year's Congress included 17 youth and 3 adults. MORE

State Winning 4-H Poultry Judging Contest

Poultry Judging Team from Stanly County-2009.

Victory Valley 4-H Club did indeed reign victorious as they placed firest tin the recent Stanly 4-H Poultry Judging contest. Team members Angela Harvell, Samantha Talley, Brandy Cleveland, and Kayla Casico displayed their knowledge about the commerical poultry industry by taking part in several calsses of competition.
