Class is open to all - male and female, young and old. Honeybees are becoming more and more valuable to us each year as we reduce their habitat and introduce new pests to prey on them, and as our understanding of the health and wellness advantages of consuming local honey increases. Beekeeping is one of the most rewarding and useful occupations / hobbies anyone can enjoy.

This seven-week class will include basic and advanced training in how to prepare for, acquire, and manage honeybee colonies. A field day will be held after the final day of class.
