Monthly Meetings for All 4-H Members

Each month, Stanly County 4-H will be hosting monthly meetings for all local 4-H members to attend! Meetings will alternate between Activity Nights and County Council meetings. Each event is completely free! See below for event dates and details:

  • February 15, 2022- Activity Night. Join us to make Valentine’s Day cards for local assisted living residents! RSVP here.
  • March 15, 2022- County Council meeting. Come improve your leadership abilities through fun workshops!
  • April 5, 2022- Activity Night. Join us to make your very own sewing project!

All SySTEMs Go

All SySTEMs Go meets the last Monday of every month from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. The All SySTEMs Go Club focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). This year, the club focuses on science experiments, particularly bottle rockets!

Youth: 5 – 13 years old (Recommended Ages)

Meeting Location: Loves Chapel United Methodist Church (Stanfield)

Club Leader: Sandy Hatley

The Barn Kids

The Barn Kids is our up-and-coming youth livestock club! This club participates in activities involving all livestock species- cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, horses, and rabbits. Club meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m.

Youth:  5-18 year olds

Meeting Location:  varies

Club Leader:  Katelyn Stegall, Livestock Agent (actively recruiting parent volunteers)
