Kitchen Kids is our 4-H Cooking Club! This club educates members on food safety, teaches them how to follow recipes, and participants even get to make their own tasty dishes at each meeting! This club will be following a SPIN Club cycle for the fall of 2023.
Youth: 5-9 year olds
Meeting Location: Agri-Civic Center
Meeting Dates: October 12, 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16
Meeting Time: 4-5 p.m.
Club Leader: Hayley Cowell, FCS Agent (actively recruiting parent/community member volunteers)
The Barn Kids
The Barn Kids is our up-and-coming youth livestock club! This club participates in activities involving all livestock species- cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, horses, and rabbits. This club will be following a SPIN Club cycle for the winter and fall of 2023.
Youth: 5-18 year olds
Meeting Location: varies (based out of the Agri-Civic Center)
Meeting Dates: TBD
Meeting Time: 6-7 p.m.

Stanly County Homeschool Club
This new 4-H Club is open to any homeschool student in Stanly County! This club picks a yearly theme to focus their monthly meetings around. Their theme for 2023 is ‘Farm to Table.’ Please email stanlycohs4h@gmail.com or michaela_vick@ncsu.edu for more information about participating in this club!
Youth: 5-18 as of January 1 of the current year
Meeting Information: Second Friday of each month at 1:30 p.m.
Meeting Location: Varies (based out of Stanly County Agri-Civic Center)

Rocky River Riders
This new 4-H Club is open to any 4-Her in Stanly County! This club focuses on equine science and equine educational contests. This club occasionally participates in hands-on activities with horses as well. Horse experience and/or ownership is not required to participate!
